Dear Mister Asimov – a memory
This is for you, Mister Asimov. This is my unwritten letter. With the warmest of affection and the greatest of admiration.
A reason to wake up in the morning. Books, paperbacks, hardbacks, audiobooks, secondhand books, e-books.
This is for you, Mister Asimov. This is my unwritten letter. With the warmest of affection and the greatest of admiration.
I’m a fan of both China Miéville and James Tiptree, Jr. (aka Alice Sheldon). You couldn’t get much further from hope than the stories of dear Alice. But I am also a fan of hope.
I don’t know her name. Oh, how I wish I did. I would hunt her down, hold her in my arms and pepper her forehead with the gentlest of kisses.
I value my privacy, but there’s nothing to hide. There’s not a single book I’m ashamed to have read. Not even the ones I regret reading (because I could have spent the time reading something better). A book’s a book.
